ATI Radeon 7500

ATI's value offering is the Radeon 7500, which achieved strong frame rate scores in our test games. In fact, the scores were only slightly below those achieved by the top-rated value graphics card, the Gainward GeForce2 Ti/500.
Image quality was a little disappointing: Colors looked flat, giving a slightly cartoonish feel to the test games. There were also contrast problems with some games that lacked detail in shadows. There is no printed manual: Instead, you get a very short installation guide and documentation on CD-ROM.
The card also has a composite-out port for connecting it to a TV, although most TVs can't display resolutions over 800 by 600 very well.
Although there are cheaper cards available, the Radeon 7500 provides a good level of performance for gamers on a budget.
